The lounge has surround sound speakers, two HD televisions, as well as a variety of media players. The lounge also has a screen, where users can book and use the audio-visual space. Library Infrastructure at a Glance.
Library Collection (print and e-resources): The library collection consists of Books, Back-volumes of Periodicals, Theses, Conference Proceedings, Standards, Reports, Microforms, and CD-ROM/DVD-ROM Databases and Audiovisual materials. The Library is having a collection of more than 3.5 Lakh documents, subscribing over 26,500+ online full- text journals and several abstracting databases. Besides, there are 2 Lakh+ e-books. The Library has two buildings, the Main Building and the Annex Building. Books, Theses and Standards are kept in the Main Building. Current Periodicals, Bound Journals, CD-ROM/DVD-ROM Databases and lecture of various video courses are kept in the Digital Library present in first floor Annexe Building
National Digital Library of India (NDLI)
National Digital Library of India (NDLI) is a virtual repository of learning resources which is not just a repository with search/browse facilities but provides a host of services for the learner community. It is sponsored and mentored by Ministry of Education, Government of India, through its National Mission on Education through Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT).
Filtered and federated searching is employed to facilitate focused searching so that learners can find the right resource with least effort and in minimum time. NDLI provides user group-specific services such as Examination Preparatory for School and College students and job aspirants. Services for Researchers and general learners are also provided.
